Termination..a weapon or necessity...?

Earlier people preferred govt job in comparison to pvt jobs due to various reason, one among them was job security, i.e they are sure that they won't be terminated from service for small issues, maximum could be suspension for few days. Termination is taken back in couple of days or month, but a person never losses his/her job. In govt jobs people can enjoy life as they don't have much work to be done, even if they have work they postpone it another day, salary is also less.

But now people prefer pvt jobs in comparison to govt job due to reason like high salary and growth opportunity. But they have "a sword hanging on their head" sword of uncertainty of job. You don't know when you will be terminated from service, which much reason to justify the cause of the action. I know its difficult for you to digest it but its true, its the harsh reality of so called corporate world.

How can companies forget the contribution done these employees to the growth of the company in one shot? When ever employees tries to raise voice against such polices of the companies they it was termination of a particular employee was a necessity of the company. It was a necessity for the betterment of the company, can digest this statement. How can termination of an become a necessity for an organization? If so, they should give reason to substantiate their deeds. Most of the time companies try to wrap up the issue at the earliest, leading to strong suspicion in the mind of other employees of the organization.

Such acts by the company indicate the employees about their worth to the organization. So next time when you join any company, ensure it up that company values the worth to its employees. So that termination could be used for blunders and not for silly mistakes which could be done away with warning.
