Traffic cops mere statue of greed at government’s expenses

Yesterday while going out to meet my friends I was caught by traffic cops at a signal, It was red light then also he asked me to drive further and move towards the either end causing trouble to other commuters. Promptly asked for documents of vechile, immediately it was produced to him. As I am driving a vehicle which has not been registered in Karnataka I am always at the receiving end so I carry all the documents with me promptly every time I go out. The thing which irritated me to the core was that he was trying to create a loop hole in a document to get extract money from me. He was scrutinising the documents in such that for a second I felt he is going to some very important official document. But reality was something different he was trying to make way to warm his pocket.

I am not accusing him for doing his duty but am surprised at the way how he carrying it out at a time when Bangalore has been put on red alert in the wake of terrorist attack in Mumbai and reports suggesting sure shot attack on Bangalore. How can they behave in such a manner. It vehicle are supposed to be let all vehicles be checked but he was just trying to locate few vechiles which had other state registration number plates & bikes with young couples. Easy preys to extract money. Is this what we call checking of vehicles at a time when city is prone to terrorist attacks anytime especially on weekends, when movement of people are bit high throughout the city?

No doubt why, India is a soft target for terrorist to terrorise the people and the nation as a whole. Mumbai attack has clearly proved it that terrorists will try to conceal their identity by making them a part of the surrounding or the area where they land up. In such a situation do you think that they will ever try to use those vehicles which could easily catch attention of the cops. I don’t think they will do any such foolish act rather they would prefer to use a vehicle with local registration, which traffic cops don’t check most of the time. Even if they are caught by cops they will grease they traffic cops with money to which they are more loyal to than their uniform or their motherland.

God forbid but, if Bangalore comes under terror attacks, who would be responsible for it? Because arms and ammunition will be shifted from one location to other through roads only, where we find such greedy people, who don’t even think twice before endangering the life of innocent people who rely upon them for their safety. Don’t you feel now that government is just wasting their money and energy in maintaining a force of cops at the stake lives of innocent people. We are paying tax to government for the facilities rendered to us in terms of good roads, airports etc but unknowingly a fraction of this money is also being given to these cops who are ever ready to put our life at stake ,i.e we are contributing money towards our insecurity even.

Millon dollar question what we should do as citizens of a law abiding country to protect our interest when government is inefficient to do it in the desired way?

Petrol prices close to 90$ barrel...Why no hue and cry..?

When petrol prices reached closed to 145$ a barrel, there was big hue and cry from petroleum companies demanding government to raise the price of petrol. They compelled govt to hike the price of petrol, which led to great resentment among the people. As prices of all other commodities were hiked simultaneously especially at restaurants and all eatery places. All leading airlines hiked their fares drastically, claiming to be incurring heavy losses. Statements made by airlines companies clearly indicated that, they are hiking fares as its the last option available to them.

Political parties tried to cash this opportunity, by blaming the ruling government for their inefficiency to manage the price of petrol. As a result congress lost its power in Karnataka and BJP came to power.

Now when the price of petrol has come down close to 90$ a barrel, then why aren't oil companies pressurizing government to reduce the price? Why aren't airline companies reducing their fare? All of them are now reaping good profit, so no hue and cry, let the masses suffer. But no sooner will they suffer smallest of loss they will raise voice to safeguard their concern.

Who will raise voice for the masses now, I feel no one. They will have to stand for themselves to safeguard their interest at best. But the most important question at stake is that even if government reduces the price of petrol, will restaurant owners and airline companies reduce the prices from their end. I don't think so because very rarely we can witness a roll down in prices of commodities which has gone up.

In all these development I feel the lone suffers are the masses as they have no one to stand for them and they themselves are so busy that they are not able to find time for themselves. Why should they suffer so much..and for whom..?

Termination..a weapon or necessity...?

Earlier people preferred govt job in comparison to pvt jobs due to various reason, one among them was job security, i.e they are sure that they won't be terminated from service for small issues, maximum could be suspension for few days. Termination is taken back in couple of days or month, but a person never losses his/her job. In govt jobs people can enjoy life as they don't have much work to be done, even if they have work they postpone it another day, salary is also less.

But now people prefer pvt jobs in comparison to govt job due to reason like high salary and growth opportunity. But they have "a sword hanging on their head" sword of uncertainty of job. You don't know when you will be terminated from service, which much reason to justify the cause of the action. I know its difficult for you to digest it but its true, its the harsh reality of so called corporate world.

How can companies forget the contribution done these employees to the growth of the company in one shot? When ever employees tries to raise voice against such polices of the companies they it was termination of a particular employee was a necessity of the company. It was a necessity for the betterment of the company, can digest this statement. How can termination of an become a necessity for an organization? If so, they should give reason to substantiate their deeds. Most of the time companies try to wrap up the issue at the earliest, leading to strong suspicion in the mind of other employees of the organization.

Such acts by the company indicate the employees about their worth to the organization. So next time when you join any company, ensure it up that company values the worth to its employees. So that termination could be used for blunders and not for silly mistakes which could be done away with warning.

Bangalore rain where to find shelter..?

Climatic condition has taken up drastic change in comparison to what we experienced earlier. A month ago due to lack of rain, bangeloreans started facing new problem which was too rare in a city like bangalore i.e frequent power cut. When people complained about it, govt has only one answer "demand is more and the generation of power is less so bear with us till it rains". People started looking forward for good rain finally it it did, and power problem came to an end just to give rise to new problem called "frequent rain". Thats true now people are complaining because of the problems faced by them due to rain, especially officer goer.

Here it rain mostly by 6 pm when people are in a hurry to reach home after wrapping up their work for the day. But rain spoils their plans as they have to stay back in office to shelter it rain stop or it reduces it its intensity so that people can move out. The moment they step out of office they find heavy traffic on road as people want to make the maximum of the time when its not raining not knowing when it start again. A stretch of road which could be covered in 30 mins would takes an hour or more to be covered. This is for the bikes, cars and buses.

For those who walk down the lane come across word logged road, having no option at hand they prefer to wet their clothes and shoes in that dirty. If they are middle of the road and it start raining they run to find a shelter where they can stand for some time to avoid getting drenched in rain fully.

Raining pattern also differs here week by week, last week it used to rain by 6 in the evening. Now it rain by 8 in the evening and continuous till late in the morning. But it rains in such a manner that it makes people life hell. For 10 mins it rains heavily them stops and again starts pouring in 5 mins, it continues like this till morning. People find it too difficult to move around at such times.

When it didn't rain then they had problem, now when it has started raining then also they have problem.. What to do human nature?

A call with Seema Mam

Seema mam is one person who is a well known person in our school even now, It has been almost six years since I left school but I couldn't forget her..why? She was the one who has banged me the most wen I was in school. Thrice she was our class teacher. "Good at heart but tough at act" is the only thing that I can say. We always used to plan something or the to over power her supremacy but never succeed in beating her up in brain game. Truly she was our guru in all sense.

Now when I think about it, I cherish upon those sweet and wonderful memories down the line. Ever since I visited my schools website on net and went through the photo of the present teaching I wanted to talk to talk her since then. As it was vacation time so I had to wait till school re-opens. Luckily Ashu was going home so I asked him to go and get me mam's number as I am desperate to talk to her.

Finally I got her number but was bit scared to talk to her. To my utter surprise she recognized as soon as I to her my name. A guy who had always scored less mark in english had spoken to his english teacher for more an hour in english without much difficulty. I couldn't believe I was talking to my english teacher that also in english. In school I had never spoken to her much except when required to. She was also very happy to hear me, after such a long gap. Even now she cares for us, it was evident from the advices which she had given me during our conversation.

When I told her that sometimes I do judge speech meets conducted at our office, she was really very happy about it and advised me to share my knowledge with others who need it, especially my friends.

Before we did hang our call we conveyed her regards to her student who are town. Really a pleasant and kind gesture of her towards all her ex-students.

Good employee at work place

In a country like India, where finding the right Job in itself is a tough job, many perceive that once they get a job their life is made. But guess what? They are wrong. Getting selected in a company is only a beginning. Your life can be made only when you become a good employee.

Many in India bank on one source of income and that’s their salary. As the cost of living is increasing day by day, working for the same pay is not an option. Employees wait thirstily for their increment. However, one gets good appraisal based on their performance. Here performance not only reckons how good you do your task but also on your behavior. This is where you will be judged if you are a GOOD or a BAD Employee. Here are few guidelines for being a good employee

Commincate: Once in a company, communicate with each others, be it your team members, your boss, even CEO if required. Do not be apprehensive while approaching your seniors. No organization can function without communication. This is vital because in companies where there is large number of employees, you need to be heard / to put your ideas across and let others know you EXIST. Communication requires a proper etiquette. Learn it.

Follow the rules: Every Company has policies and rules which has to be adhered by the employees. Follow it and don’t break it. Here are some list of policies / Rules which are common in organizations

a) Attendance & Leave: Maintain good attendance at work. Always make sure that the person you report to is informed about your leave. When this is done you are being very professional.

b) Dress Code: Dress well to work, this boosts your confidence. If the policy states that you have to wear formals then do that. Do not go to office with torn jeans and slippers unless you are asked to do so.

c) Asset Management: Make sure that you take care of office equipments like, desktops, laptops, mobile phones and other important documents / Assets of the company that you are in possession of. Do not loose them or get them damaged.

d) Travel: When you are traveling for project purpose, you will be eligible for DA and others allowances. Be happy for what you get as per policies. Do not produce fake bills in order to get reimbursement.

Honesty & Integrity: Every Employee should serve the company honestly and faithfully and promote the companies interest to his/her full ability.

Be Helpful: Not all are equally talented so this is where one has to learn to help others. Believe it or not, people observe you at work. What you do, how you spend your time, how helpful you are to others etc. Helping others would spread the news that you are a great person. This is how you get recognized.

Respect Others: Respect everyone in the company, from the person who’s doing a low profile job to the Managing Director. Appreciate their differences and value them all. This will earn you more respect.

Have Patience: It is very important for everyone to be patient. Some times you may not be rewarded for your hard work. Or you might not get appropriate work as per your qualification. Hold on, if not this time, next time.

Select the right channel: At work you will face many frustrating Situations like you do the hard work but someone else takes the credit, newly joined employee with same qualification as you being paid more than you (this is called Salary Compression). In these situations choose the right channel to address your concerns, approach the HR or your manager and get your issues resolved.

Be smart not over smart: Be smart, you will be loved for that but don’t be over smart that would cause detest. Don’t act like “you know it all and you are a genius kind of a person “, even if you are, don’t boast about it.

Play Politics: Politics and Politicking is an important part of every organization. One has to deal with it and not run away from it. Be a good politician, however make sure that it does not cross the limit or hurt others. In other words, Make sure that the politics is healthy

Leave with a good note: Many, often don’t know how to quit a company professionally; they just vanish without a trace. Working in just one company till you retire is a thing of a past. Recent HR Surveys show that one shifts close to 15 to 20 jobs in his/her life time. It’s always good to submit a resignation letter, serve the notice period and complete all the relieving procedures. On the last day, make sure you meet your boss, send an email to your colleagues thanking them for their supporting, let them know you will be available; provide them your email Id and your contact number. Make sure that you collect all the required documents on time (Experience certificates, relieving letters) as they are given more importance in India.

Government offices an apathy

Today I went to an insurance company to insure my bike, had terrible experince their. Office working hours are 10 a.m - 5.45 p.m(monday - friday) saturdays and sundays are holidays. Seems like a software company when we read their timing chart but its not so. I reached their at 10 a.m sharp, as I had to come to office also after finishing my work their. It was 10.10 when people started coming in. First they did after coming to office was to sigh the attendence register instead of looking after the people who have gathered inside office. Luckily for me the lady who was suppose to look after my vechile's insurance was at her desk by 10.15 a.m and when I approached her she asked me to fill in few form and wait for some time.

It was then when I took a view of whole office clock was ticking 10.30 a.m, office still had a desrted look. Most of the desk was empty although office timing had began long back. Manger was in his cabin but his employees were yet to report to work. Their were few people whose work could be completed on time due to absence of the employees in the office. I was wondering had been a pvt organization. By 10 a.m sharp all employees would have been on desk work would have resumed long back.
May be that the reason why pvt companies are doing better job in comaprison to govt companies. Every body who was present their was telling the same thing as most of them were either working in pvt firms or had seen the way how they work.

I had to make a draft the other day I went to ICICI bank at around 7.30 p.m and by 7.55 p.m they had handed me the draft. It really made me think had about their work culture and their dedication to their work. Had I been to govt bank it would have taken full day for me, which I had experienced couple of time.

I feel that the reason why government empolyees are opposing privitization. The day government office are privitised, they will improve their wqrking standard and add value not only to the government but also to the masses.

10 years of friendship...

"A ship which doesn't sink is frienship" I feel it true. Mine and ashu's frindship is 10 years old now, couldn't believe about it when he told me about it. I felt it was just yesterday when were introduced to each other by our class teacher in 9 th std. Didn't know then we will take our friendship to this level. Memories are still fresh about, I being banged by seems mam for sharing home work and sitting only with him and none other in class for all 4 years of our school life. It was great fun.

Even though we are miles apart today but then also we are in constant touch with each other through orkut, mail and mobile. Waiting eagerly to meet him but my professional commitment have tied my leg otherwise I would have meet him long back. Its almost 3 years sice we have met each other but I feel we will make it up by meeting each other. I still wonder what is it that has kept our relation going on despite the distance between. May be because of the understanding that we have developed over these years. Really lucky to have a friend like ashu in my life.

We are planning to celebrate silver and golden jubilee of our frienship as the time proceeds by. I have defenetly learned one thing from our relation if we are really truthful and loyal to any realtionship it always works out well, no matter how hard the situations could be at times. For people who say distance spoils relationship, our freindship is an example for them to rethink their statement.

Petrol pumps high and dry...

To my utter surprise, yesterday I experienced a strange problem like most of the people in Bangalore. Their was no petrol at petrol pumps. Customers were turned away from pumps telling petrol is out stock. Even premium was out of stock, few pumps which had petrol people were busy filling their vechile tank full. But how long will they be able to sustain with the petrol they have in their tank? All depends upon them and their use.

I have never come across any such thing till date in my life, may be finding petrol pumps were a problem to me at times but no petrol at pumps never. I feel its just the tip of the ice berg, if the condition persists then soon a day would come when people would use bicycle to commute instead of cars and bikes.

I think its high time that people take some time from their busy schedule and pay serious thought about this problem/crisis. If we don't think about it now and try to come out with a solution to tackle this problem, it would be too late in future then. Still wondering why people are not raising voice against it. Seems like people are also less bothered to express their concern to this issue which could bring drastic change in their life.

I feel pity upon cars and biker manufacturers now, I feel soon enough people would stop buying cars and bikes if they are run by petrol or diesel. High time automobile manufacture find an alternate source of energy to run the product manufactured by them, if they don't want to stock it in their company's gowdowns and showrooms. Are auto manufacturer listening or still putting an blind eye to it.

Hard worker or Smart worker...which one to go for?

Thinking what is it I am talking about? Smart worker is the one who perform the task assigned to him in less time using his brain or special skill than others, where as hard worker is the one who takes hell lot of time to complete the work assigned to him but he puts his heart and soul to it, without applying commonsense.

Today companies are looking forward towards recruiting smart workers in comparison to hard workers for the simple reason that they want to save time but it could be dangerous even. as smart workers are clever enough to either pass on their work to others or to do less work and show more.

At times it becomes difficult to manage such people because over a period of time we find that they start training others also to their traits and it effects the productivity of the other employees in the organization. They are not useful for long term.

With hard workers no such problem occurs but only thing is that some one needs to pay little more attention to them. But in long run we can rely upon them. But looking at the trend of the mark companies are looking forward to a fusion of hard and smart worker, so which one they should go for?

Fathers or Rapists...?

Shocking but true.Seems like fathers have taken up taken up a new a responsibility towards their girl child as rapist of the honor of their own daughters. Till date they were the one who were responsible to safeguard the honor of their daughters. Some even laid their life's for the purpose but of late savers have themselves become the destroyers. For girls the most secure place in the whole universe was their home but today they feel insecure there also. Who needs to be held responsible for it?

Such incidents are not confined to a particular segment of the society rather they are witnessed everywhere. Mothers are in the most challenging position in such cases as they have to select either their husband or their child if they want justice for their child. If they decide to keep quiet then also they are not secure as they will have to see her daughter suffering from her father in future. Its really a tough decision but now women have decided to be mothers rather than wives when it comes to the interest of their loved ones.

That was how the unscrupulous deeds of fathers came to notices of the masses. Fathers who have carried on such deeds are not at all ashamed of their deeds rather they try to justify it. Earlier the intensity of such cases were very rare but now such incidents have become common looking at the increasing numbers of incidents reported.

I feel no punishment will really do justice to the victim as they will never in their life forget it that their savior was only their destructor. Our judicial system should definitely do some thing so that the frequency of such incidents are reduced or is fully eliminated from society.

Law enforcers or law breakers...?

Police department has been entrusted with the responsibility of enforcing law in the country and to get hold of the people who are breaking law. Arrested people are punished on the basis of the evidence brought forward to prove their crime. This is the case with ordinary masses.

But what punished should be administered when people from police department only resort to crime.I feel punishment awarded to them should be more stringent, as they are committing knowing about the future implication of their deeds. If we go by stats then we can see that of late police personnel have indulged in big crime master minded by them.

Justice is delivered to the victims but it is often delayed. As said " Justice delayed is justice denied", so we can say that justice has been denied. Very often people are reluctant to file complaint when they witness any crime involving men in khaki. Few who dare to make it up find it very difficult to withstand for long in front of the threats being given to them

I feel that law should take special course of action while dealing with law enforcers when they turn to law breakers. So that people may be encouraged to raise voice against these people and are assured that they will not make an easy escape from the clutches of law.

Why are rich brads steeping to crime....?

People resort to crime only, when its the last option available to them. Sometime back it was poor or middle class people who had monopolized the arena of crime but now they have competitors in the field of crime even, shocking but true rich brads are steeping to crime. Reason for them stepping to crime is still unknown to most of us, as people step to this business only fro money. These rich brads who are financially sound what has urged them to crime is something which needs our attention.

Their victims and modus operandi is also high tech, which suits to their educational background. Most astonishing facts is they are doing it for the sake of money. They are getting fat pocket money every money to satisfy all their needs backed by credit cards in most of the cases, then why to adopt crime, as it may put an end to their career.I feel they are insulting the education taken by them from the best in town coeducational institutions.

To my utter shock I found few people who have been nabbed are police are none other than professionals like MBA's , software engineers and academic scholars who have got gold medals during their college days. Isn't it shocking? These are the people who are minting good money from various MNC's where they are employed to.

Thinking about those who take up to crime to out of compulsion as they don't have any other option available to them. They are willing to lead a decent life if given an opportunity. But here are people who are leading decent life in society but they are themselves want to ruin it for the reasons best known to them.

Train or Flight which one to choose?

All leading air carriers have increased its air fare due to ever increasing crude oil prices. I feel that this definitely is going to effect travelers mentality, now travelers may think of trains in case of covering short distance which could be of 45min to an hour by flight. I was booking a flight ticket from Bangalore to Cochin couple of days back to my utter surprise, I noticed that fare was 500rs and taxes were close to 2500bugs. Almost 5 times more the air fare. When I check it in train in AC class it was coming close to 1500 bugs. I decided to go by train then. Even in inter state bus the fare was same in AC. Why not to go by train or by bus instead of flight?

May be in case of some emergency I may prefer to go by flight, but in normal course of time I will go by train or bus which ever suits me the best. In recent past people preferred to travel by flight even for short distance reason was low cast air carrier like "Air Deccan". Most of us had made best use of it by flying to various destination of our choice by flight. Various air carriers had made good money out of it.

I feel now is the real challenge for them, as they may notice few flier to fly. I feel mostly business men would use it. Ordinary people may try to refrain from it, especially if they are traveling with family, which was not th case sometime back. We can't blame airlines for it,they were compelled to do it for their survival.

So next time when you are planning to fly which one will you chose ?

Do you think aarushi's father would have killed her?

Everyone has one unanimous decision when it comes to Aarushi murder case i,e justice to be delivered and let the real culprits be given the deserving punishment. As it now police has not been able to find a break through in this case. I think they are forgetting something " Justice delayed is justice denied".

The most astonishing fact is that police is trying to pin the crime on aarushi's parents, which most of us are finding difficult to digest. I strongly feel that her parents are innocents,if they would have killed her first that they would have done would be to hide the dead body at a far off place. No murderer would ever keep the dead body at his place, as then he would be the prime suspect of murder. If they really wanted to kill her, then they would have done it through some other means as both her parents were doctors, but the way how she has been murdered it seems that it has been done by someone who is criminal by nature. Murder lacks the efficiency required by a medical professional to commit it. The case it crystal clear murder has been committed by someone else. Can't police understand this simple stuff go in search of the real culprit? Instead of harassing innocent people.

If local police is not able to able real culprit ,then I feel case should be handed over to C.B.I to nab the offenders. People are readily cooperating with police, then also police is not able to find any clue? I feel by the time police find the real culprit he would have gone far away from the hand of police.

I just feel pity for Aarushi's parents who can't even sob at the demise of their teen daughter. Their grief is intensified by being termed as the killer of their daughter. I think people should think about it before making any statement.

Sexual harrasment at work place... a weapon or reality?

Sexual harassment at workplace is growing especially in MNC's. Its happening in all the reputed MNC's in India, which has been able to expose the real face of these companies. Earlier victims used to remain silent about it or quit jobs. But now they have decided to bring such things not only in the notice of the company but also to the notice of media. Because there are instances where in companies have tried to cover up the issues.

Today companies have come with special policies for their women employees, any kind of injustice or discrimination will not be tolerated by the company management and the culprit is sure to be punished for his deeds. Many companies have done it even, which has boosted the morale of the women employees in organizations.

But of late women have started misusing it, they have started framing men in fake sexual harassment cases. When companies investigate the matter they come to know that, the real culprit is none other than the complainant itself. Companies are at loss in such situation, as they themselves don't know what to do in such situations. The lone sufferer in such cases are men whose image/reputation is tarnished.Even though they have get clean chit but people may not forget it easily. In such situations men change jobs, which could be a loss for the company as well as the individual himself.

I feel some strict polices should be framed towards those women employees who try to frame innocent men in sexual harassment cases. I strongly feel that companies should also come up with sexual harassment polies for men also, where in men victims and culprits are women.

What punishment should be awarded for child molestation?

Shocking but true child molestation cases are growing at a faster than any other crime all over the world. What could be the reason for the sudden hike in such cases in comparison to past? Earlier it was confined to west but now it has made it entry to India even, which is evident from the cases being reported about it in newspapers daily.

Their is no discrimination of gender in this crime, boy or girl anyone could become victim to this crime. Earlier it was like such crimes were confined to the domestic help of the house holds, but now it has come to open fields, parks etc.How could someone even think of committing such crime to innocent children? More over in this crime victims age bar is also not specific, lesser the age of the child, higher is the chances of being prone to such crime.

Their are few NGO's who are trying their best to counsel the victims of such cases but then also, they find it difficult to bring such children back to normal track of life once again. Its difficult to erase memories of the incident from children's mind. But one thing I can say that most of the children in India are also victim to it, as only few go reported, rest don't report it due to fear. Mostly the offender are not strangers but are near and dear ones of the victims, which increases the intensity of crime.

When I thought about the possible punishment to be awarded to the guilty person I couldn't reach up to a conclusion, because it injures the present as well as the future life of the children. Mostly such children try to refrain from marriage in future life due to their past experience. They lose their innocence at very tender age.

I feel the punishment awarded to the guilty, should be some thing which is followed in Muslim country so that people think thrice before committing it.

Honour Killing....why and for whom?

Honour killing is making headlines in all the papers these days, whats the reason for it? Its not confined to a particular region or state, it's the status of most of the states in India. There has been sudden increase in such cases in the recent times. What is the message that they are trying to convey by it is something which most of us are not able to understand?

Is marring someone whom you love a sin? I don't think, then why this killing? What do the killer want to prove to the society? Most shocking part of it is that, the killer are none other than the parents. Whom will the children trust, if their parents themselves are going to become desirous of their blood?

I don't feel any religion teaches to spread the messages of hatred, rather it always guide us to spread the messages of love. How could parents muster courage to killing the fruit of their love, for whom they done so much in their life? Sacrificed their happiness for the happiness of their child. Devoted their life for their kids and their happiness. Doesn't these thoughts come to their mind when they themselves kill them.

What do the get y doing so? I don't feel they get any thing in life, rather they loose everything in life and find themselves behind the bars. Is such killing would have been able to create some awareness then young couples would have refrained from getting married to their loved ones but they still listening to their heart. I feel killer should lesson from it and stop it as their threat are going to yield them desired results.

Women stripping in public in India

We are living in 21 century, where equal rights are given to both men and women. But I feel it is only confined to words. it never get transpired to deeds. Had it been then incidents of Indian women stripping in public would not have surfaced? Indian culture is something which has been respected world wide, when such incidents make headline of newspaper it's a matter of shame for India.

The latest incident which i came across was of women, who was raped by two youth and police officials had refused to register F.I.R seeking various reasons.I feel they underestimated the female, as she belonged from a middle class family. Had they registered the complaint the police department would have been able to avoid infamy. They were doing injustice to women who had already been sufferer of pain of losing her honor "most valuable asset of a women".

This urged the female to strip in public, after which her complaint was lodged. It was then the police department really came into action and were trying to cover the matter as usually done by them.In most of the cases of women stripping in public the culprit is police who refuse to register complain women who need help and security from them.

Is it really justified that in India women have to strip in public just to get a complaint register in a police station, that also in India were women are worshiped in the form of various goddesses like "laxmi and parvati" ? Where has the great glory of Indian culture and tradition gone?

Should vechiles be switched off at traffic signals?

Today while coming to office I realized one thing that there are very few people who switch off their vechiles when get stuck at traffic signals. Most of them they prefer to keep their vechiles switched on, there by wasting fuel and polluting the environment at large.

I have noticed that even in traffic signals where, time is indicated people prefer to keep their vechiles on.At some places where it heavy traffic and vechiles are halted for 3 mins even then they vechiles are on. Why? The fuel which they are wasting then is of no use for them or the environment around.

Can't understand one thing what really motivates them to keep to do this act. On world environment day people take oath that they will do this do that but when the time comes they forget it straight away.

I feel we are addicted to vechiles these days. Reason even if we have to cover small distance we prefer to use our car or bike, why? Those distance which could be covered by foot should be done that done by foot.It has 2 benefits, first it will act as an exercise for us and secondly we will save money on petrol and parking .And it will be a unique experience for all of to come out of our routine life from cars and bikes.

So are you with me towards saving our earth and bit of money.?

Are human lives so economical?

Couple of times while reading newspaper I come across newses relating to murders/suicides being committed for matter which are too small to from a cause for it to happen.

Last week while reading newspaper I read about an incident where in an ice cream vendor was killed just for 50 rs. After reading it I was really shocked because the purpose of this murder was not so big that a person had to lose his life. A small argument over payment for the sale of ice cream had lead a family lose its bread winner. Who will look after his family now comprising of his wife, new born baby and his ailing parents?

Another incident was a married was killed by her husband just for a ceiling fan.During marriage he was paid well in the form of dowry. As summer approached he demanded ceiling fan from his wife as part of dowry, which she refused to ask her parents. The result she was burned alive by pouring kerosene oil on her. Was ceiling fan so expensive when compared to her life?

How can human being kill other human being for such small issues? Life is the most precious gift of god given to us human being to enjoy our lives and let others enjoy theirs. The way how this killing is taking place soon a day will come when people will start killing other for no causes only.

Are Etiquettes required in multiplexs even?

Last Saturday I went out with my friends for night shows, at a multiplex to watch a "Narniya".I had a movie hall next to my house where even availability of ticket was not a problem for me but we preferred a multiplex to really enjoy the movie imaging the crowd would be decent. But to our utter disgust we were highly disappointed as we were not able to enjoy the movie to the extend to which we had expected.

The reason was cell phone a necessary evil carried by people these days with them. I can't understand one thing why don't people either switch off their cell or put it in silent mode so they can enjoy the movie and let others also do the same. You have come here to enjoy so enjoy why do you want to bother yourself and others?

The biggest distraction is the ringtone of cell phones which is too loud and distracts the attention of the people because the viewers get so involved in the movie that at times he doesn't even come that his cell is ringing. Then he will pick the call from his seat and start conversing which create inconvenience for others. It was this thing which had irritated me a lot as I couldn't listen to what is being said.

I think we all should try to keep our cell on silent mode while watching movie or while attending some conference. While receiving the call also we should go an isolated place so that others are not disturbed because of our call. Why should we give an opportunity to others to say us question our etiquettes?

Online lottery, do they really exist?

Everyday in newspaper we can come across an incident of online lottery fraud. Strangest part of such incidents is that, the victims mostly the literate people, who have some idea of such frauds. One thing which I can't understand is that how come literate people become victims to such incidents. Is it their greed for money which put them in situation where in they end up shelling money from their own pocket for no returns or something else.

Most of the people who assess net these have at least some idea about such fraud. Whenever I get such mail I just delete it without even reading it. Such mails they never come in inbox most of the time you can find them at spam only very rarely they do come in inbox.

Even cyber crime department officials are not able to locate fraudsters as the information furnished by them to the victim turns out to be false most of the time. Hence the chances of failure in nabbing the culprits is quite high.

I feel " prevention is better than cure " policy should be adopted to avoid becoming prey to such incidents..

Do you agree with or not?

Terror attack an unanswered question

When will the terror attack come to an end is a question which is still unanswered by many? Today no part of the world is really a safe place to live,as we can't expect when we will come under terrorist attack. The blast in Gujarat is one such example of terrorism.

Every time such terrorist attack occur there are agencies who are ready to take claim for it. What do they achieve by doing it? As such attacks only leads to destruction and nothing else. Only sufferers of such attacks are innocent people who lose their dear ones. Destruction of infrastructure etc. What do these terrorist's achieve actually by taking the life of the innocent people? Do they get what they want? No, never this only leads to widespread agony among the people towards such terrorist organizations.

Whatever reasons these terrorist organization give the ultimate loss has always been to the masses, who have lost some great leaders like Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Benazir Butto and many other to name a few.

I think its high time these terrorist organization should try to stop terrorizing people and adopt some other means to put forward their demands to whom ever they want, otherwise a day will when these terrorist attack will not be able to terrorize people any more.

Could happiness be found?

In todays life each one of us are countering a common problem, lack of happiness in our life's? Who is to be blamed for it? A question an answered so far. I feel its us because now we have set standards for our happiness also, like for any other thing in our life.

Citing an example of yet to be a metro city like Bangalore, here people are not human beings from Monday- Friday but are more like machines. They enjoy themselves only on Saturdays and Sundays. To relieve themselves from stress and to find big happiness in life they are ready to go to any extend today. Drinking, smoking, shopping, movies, hanging out with friends, long drives all are the unique ways adopted by people to find happiness but all are of no use.

I think we should not set standards to find happiness rather try to find it in every small thing we do. We should try to find happiness in others happiness a difficult task but will really make you feel good. Try it once at least.

Happiness and sorrows both are with in us so it is us who should has to decided upon what we really wanna select in our life. Don't search for happiness outside search it with in your self only.

More cars or alternate source of Energy

Today everybody is planning to buy a car for himself, ignoring the fact that petrol prices have reached highest and is expected to rise in future also. Its not the people who are crazy to buy cars but the companies are also busy in bringing out new models out of their factory, to woo their prospective customer.

The effort put forward by TATA in bringing out "nano" 1 lakh rs car was a revolution in car industry. But i feel TATA should have also taken up the initiative to develop car which could run on alternate source of energy apart from petrol and diesel.

I feel the best energy to be used as an alternate source of energy for cars would be solar energy which is found in abundance. We are busy planning as to which car we should shop for, ignoring the fact that without petrol they will of no use so before they make huge investment in procuring a car find it of use later due inadequate supply of petrol.

Its high time that companies should focus their attention to this point and take a decision. Any company who take up the initiative first will definitely get the first mover advantage. As TATA got due to NANo.
